We have reached a brand-new year here at SuperPhillip Central, but we're not done with looking back at the year that was 2012. There's an award ceremony to get through, as well as the Central City Census results for December. Let's take a look!

Do you plan on getting/receiving a new console/handheld as a gift this holiday season?


A good 73% of you were planning on getting at least one new console, with 35% of the vote getting a Wii U.  I hope you voters out there got what you asked for. I know I certainly did. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS got a fair amount of votes while answers like the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 got a handful of votes. Why don't we take a look at January 2013's Census question?

It is now Game of the Year season. SuperPhillip Central is even getting in on the fun later this evening. The question I pose to you is: What gaming platform was home to your favorite game of 2012? Poll closes at the end of this month.
