The answer is simple; to change the world! And that's exactly what you get to do in this game!
You play as a cute Koala named Ace who loves fruit! Unfortunately a few delicious pieces of fruit are just out of reach and you need to change the positions of the platforms to get to the fruit!
You can change the positions of the platform by entering a math formula.
There's no right or wrong answer, every formula the player can come up with will have an effect on the world! Suddenly math becomes as fun as drawing!
There are many possible ways to finish a level... be creative!
Later levels will feature enemies and traps keeping the game challenging. And while your at it, you can collect stars for a better score!

Play Nintendo Is Evolving...
To contact us Click HERE
If you follow me on Twitter, you may have noticed that I made a pretty big announcement over the weekend. Essentially, Play Nintendo as it is now will soon be coming to a close. I will be moving away from Blogger and the Play Nintendo branding to create something new. This will include new branding, new url, new features, etc.
What does this Mean for Play Nintendo Readers?
Well, you can expect the Play Nintendo spirit to live on with this new website. News posts will be almost 100% identical to the Play Nintendo format; this means that I will continue to only post high quality news which includes my no rumors policy.
Reviews will change a little... I will be doing away with the percentage model and revert to a more traditional Out of 10 rating; Retro Reviews will remain exactly the same. Though the rating will change, expect them to have a similar style to what you read now. In fact, reviews from Play Nintendo will be among the only content being moved over to the new site. Everything else will remain active on Play Nintendo. I will have a review scale and additional info ready for the launch.
What does this mean for Current Affiliates?
I will be contacting most of you within the launch window to create a new affiliation. I will have a friends of "blank" page to showcase your blogs/websites. It should be pretty much the same as it is here on Play Nintendo actually.
Other Additions
Among news posts and reviews, I will be adding some new features. First off is the addition of news/reviews for games that aren't on Nintendo consoles! While the main focus will still be on Nintendo, I do play PC games and other video games, so I would like to comment on these from time to time. A lot of the big news stories like a new Grand Theft Auto game, or major sony/microsoft news will also go up from time to time.
I will also be introducing something I like to call Miscellaneous Crap. This will be an outlet for me to blog about TV, Movies, Wrestling, culture, or pretty much anything that isn't video game related. It should be a fun addition and will help the site grow a wider audience.
Some forum and social networking features are being tested at the moment and I hope to have them included for the site's launch. The forum will not be as complex as many forums you may visit, but will be a place to allow a deeper discussion. I'm also hoping to add stuff like a Profile page with the ability to add friends, see their activity on the site (comments, etc), avatars, and possibly even personal blogs (though I haven't even started on that yet). It will be a way to help you personalize the experience at the website and to help the community grow.
----------------------------------------------
This isn't a definitive list of changes and some of the social features may not even make the cut, but I do plan to uphold the majority of these promises. I'm hoping that everyone will make the transition when the site launches and even help spread the word a little to help create a great gaming community.
As the time draws near, I will notify everyone of the switch and invite you all to participate. I'm hoping to launch this weekend if possible, but wouldn't be surprised if I run in to a few issues that would delay the launch. Regardless, this is something I'm really excited about and will be the realization of my ultimate goal. Hope to see you there when the page turns to this new chapter.

Foodler Review

We all love a home cooked meal. My idea of a perfect meal would consist of cheesy baked macaroni and cheese with a breadcrumb topping, sautéed kale with garlic, warm buttery rolls, and barbecued chicken that has been marinating overnight. Yumm, right? As a busy working mom I am forever on the go, and even though I try I don’t always win with meal planning and therefore a lot of meals are last minute. I do try to cook a home cooked meal each night for myself and my daughter, but listen it doesn’t always work like that! Between late nights at work and her various activities and birthday parties, sometimes takeout is the answer.
And that’s what I love Foodler! They make online ordering of take-out and delivery food from local restaurants quick and easy! Foodler is a fast-growing network of online restaurants in many cities that offers a wide selection of menus and cuisines.
Foodler Gives You: · Easy, intuitive, and free online ordering from restaurant menus. · Complete listings of restaurants that offer delivery and take-out in your area. · Accurate prices, restaurant savings, and online coupons. · A variety of menus including Chinese, Italian, Pizza, Mexican, Japanese, and Thai. · Exclusive restaurant and dish ratings
Foodler Rewards You: · Earn FoodlerPoints for every dollar you spend and every restaurant and dish you review. · FoodlerPoints can be redeemed for gift cards, FoodlerBucks and even cash. · Exclusive discounts · Rebates in the form of FoodlerBucks for trying new participating restaurants · Contest every Friday on our Facebook that rewards FoodlerBucks
My ordering experience with Foodler was great! I ordered from one of my favorite local restaurants providing fresh local ingredients: Stone Hearth Pizza. I was craving some of their delicious parmesan flatbread and chopped salad. Everything was very clear on the website and 45 minutes later I was inhaling my online order! The website could use some sprucing up, but other than that everything I ordered was exactly how it was delivered to my door! Bye bye to a messy menu drawer, and hello to a whole new way to order take-out and delivery!

The family that plays together, stays together #Wiifamilia

Up until Christmas last year I was what you could call a Wii hater. Having not been able to justify the purchase of a video game system in my budget, I was stuck being in awe of the Wii at my friends and family’s home. I’d urge certain friends to have us over so I could secretly play their Wii. It became clear within the first five minutes of arriving that I was there to play the Wii!! After seeing my daughter’s face light up after playing Just Dance 2 a few times, I knew that purchasing a Wii was a must somehow, someway!
Christmas morning rolled around and my daughter was ESTATIC to find out that one of her presents was a Wii complete with Just Dance 2 and 3! I called it the gift that keeps on giving, because I was as excited as she was to have a Wii in our home. I am always looking for more creative and engaging ways to get some fitness in, and have had to focus more on at home workouts because of my daughter. I thought this was perfect because it was something fun we could do together that wouldn’t only strengthen our bond, but also burn some calories. Win, Win!
Having never been a fan of instruction manuals I eagerly setup the Wii console, and to my surprise setup was extremely user friendly, moved some wired here, plugged in some things there, and we were good to go! We had tons of fun setting up our virtual characters then we were off to Just Dance! Though I think that the sensor is a bit funny, we have had loads of fun playing the Wii, and it’s a great game to bring out when we have people over. It doesn’t take up much room and easily lives on our entertainment center. As the title says, the family that plays together, stays together!!

Review: Mario Party 9 Wii Game
To contact us Click HERE
I looove my Wii, I wrote about how user friendly and interactive the Wii is in my previous post The family that plays together, stay’s together. When we get the chance to get new games we love figuring out how to play and uncovering new levels!
We were thrilled to review Mario Party 9! I mean who doesn’t love Mario!! Lots of laughs and fun have been spent in our house playing Mario Kart, and it lets me know that my daughter should probably never ever get her license!!
For the first time in the franchise, boss battles crash the party and challenge players to compete to defeat a common enemy. In addition, players now travel across stages together in a vehicle towards a common goal – overcoming obstacles, battling bosses, and collecting Mini Stars stolen by Bowser and his minions. Featuring 80 new minigames, adventurous new stages, and all-new ways to play that blend cooperative and competitive action for up to four players.
Playing games for the first time can sometimes be a bit frustrating, and we did feel that way about this game. We loved that it was a team effort, and all the characters are playing towards the same goal, but it was a bit confusing for my daughter, and even for me. You have the option of having help and tips along the way which were helpful and helped to explain some of what was going on, overall my daughter wasn’t very impressed. The minigames though were another story, and the fact that there are so many to choose from were exciting, the many times we played we never played the same one twice. You also have the option to practice playing the minigames before the actual game, which we did every time. These minigames include making pizza, escaping haunted mansions, and racing snowmobiles.
We’re happy to add Mario Party 9 to our collection of Wii games, though we’ll need more practice in understanding how to maximize playing the game!!

Description :
EA Sports’ long-running college football series returns to campus with a new mode and enough updates and adjustments to fill a college textbook in NCAA Football 13 for Xbox 360. The most significant change for this season is an emphasis on more realistic passing and pass defense, with “Total Control Passing” allowing quarter backs to take specific dropbacks, pump fake, and change the trajectory of each pass, and the new “Read & React Defense” producing more realistic reactions from linebackers and defensive backs by requiring them to see the ball before they make a play on it.
Adding to the franchise’s stable of career modes is the new “Heisman Challenge, “in which gamers can play as a selection of former Heisman Trophy winners and attempt to duplicate their award-winning stats. The popular “Dynasty” and “Road to Glory” modes return, once again allowing users to guide a single player or an entire team through multiple college football seasons. And game presentation has been overhauled in NCAA Football 13, with new trophies and pre-game traditions, updated commentary from Kirk Herbstreit, Brad Nessler, and Erin Andrews, and dynamic studio updates from ESPN analyst Rece Davis.
Features:
Gameplay – With a new passing system that changes the way quarterbacks and receivers play and respond, combined with a new read and react defensive AI system, NCAA Football 13 delivers greater realism on the virtual gridiron.
Road to Glory – The experience of being a college football superstar is now even more exciting with a new feature in Road to Glory that allows players to see and feel the game differently during key moments, increasing on-field awareness and creating amazing opportunities.
Heisman Challenge – There are familiar faces on the field in NCAA Football 13, which now features a selection of former Heisman Trophy winners. With the new Heisman Challenge mode, fans have the ability to utilize the skill set of a legendary Heisman Trophy winner in a quest to match his award-winning historical performances and win the Heisman trophy once again.
Dynasty – Game days come to life with mid-game updates featuring a new studio analyst, plus enhanced commentary from NCAA Football veterans Kirk Herbstreit and Brad Nessler. Recruiting now goes deeper than ever with the addition of dynamic grades and the ability to scout players. Plus, there are even more ways to interact with your Dynasty from the web.
Sights & Sounds – Revel in the pageantry of college football game days with NCAA Football 13. Featuring new team run-outs, mascots and pre-game traditions along with significantly enhanced audio and new trophy presentations, NCAA Football 13 will deliver the passion and excitement of college football to fans across the nation.

Music Monday: Borderlands Theme Tune
To contact us Click HERE
This is the first post in my new 8-Bit Girl schedule (which I won't be revealing as I think the surprise is better...plus you'll work it out in time anyway!).
Music Monday will be a post dedicated to one music track from a game which I feel deserves a feature, for whatever reason.
Today's Music Monday track is "Ain't No Rest For The Wicked" by Cage The Elephant.
This is the official theme tune for Borderlands, which if you've played the game, you may remember from the opening cut-scene, where each character is introduced. So, check out this great song below. Enjoy!

Capcom confirmed the details last week of it's Collectors Edition version of the upcoming Resident Evil 6. The bundle includes not only the steelbook version of the game, but a hoodie, art book, a signed artwork, avatar DLC, Forces emblems, and much more. Judging by the amount included in this collection, no doubt it was going to be an expensive purchase.
Well, it looks like we were right. The collection will be priced at a hefty £129.99, and will be sold exclusively at GAME in the UK.
Resident Evil 6 will be released on the 2nd October 2012. Will you be picking up the Collectors Edition?

Review: Fallout New Vegas

What springs to mind when we think of Vegas? Well for many, it’s where countless people flock to play casino games. It’s also where couples looking for a bit of cheese on their big day can be wed by one of the cities many Elvis impersonators.
There have been several games set in Vegas, but one of the most enjoyable examples would have to be Fallout New Vegas. Bethesda Softworks have handed over development duties to Obsidian Entertainment, the team behind the first Fallout title. However, fears aside, as Fallout’s first team have managed to provide a gritty and engaging post-apocalyptic role playing experience.
Set several years after the events in Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas moves the action from Washington D.C. to “New Vegas”, what of course was once Las Vegas. Whilst many of the gameplay mechanics remain, New Vegas also feels somewhat different. Unlike the landscape in Fallout 3, players will not be confronted with a barren, desert wasteland that Washington D.C. became after the blast. The water is less contaminated here, now that the new purifying system is in place. Instead of miles of rockery, there’s actually a lot more (edible) plant life. Things also feel a little more ordered, with the New California Republic soldiers helping to keep the balance in this new society.
However, what order has been established does not disguise the fact that New Vegas is still not a safe town. Raiders and gangs roam the area, drug addicts loiter in the streets and there plenty of mutated creatures vying for a piece of your flesh. An imperial-esque gang called the Legion are also threatening to disturb what little peace New Vegas has managed to create.
Once the initial character creation scene is completed (the game begins with your character being shot in the head, thus resulting in some patching up by a local doctor), like Fallout 3 before it, you’re free to roam the games huge landscape. This is where the game is at its most enjoyable, as you’re more than likely to stumble across something in your travels almost constantly. Whether it be an encounter with a foe, or the discovery of a brand new place on the map, it’s a joy to mindlessly explore for these occasions.
Like Fallout 3, there’s still plenty of collectables lying around. Yes, a lot of it is rubbish, but like the saying goes, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” If you wish to rummage around for cans of Pork N’ Beans for some reason whilst looking out for stat-boosting books, then by all means do it. Companions are also back, which help to lighten the load a little when fighting gets a little too intense. However, occasionally their AI can be a little frustrating at times. For example, occasionally companions are prone to running off to fight an enemy single-handledly, rather than staying to help you out…which at times can end horribly.
One of the best things about the game is its expansiveness. The map feels a lot more varied than Fallout 3’s, and combines small towns reeking in poverty, to middle-ground villages, right up to neon-lighted casinos, where irradiated water resides. Like Fallout 3, Oblivion and Skyrim, I found that I had clocked up a significant amount of hours on purely exploring and completing sidequests, when there was still a huge proportion of the main story to go. It’s easy to get immersed, or should I say distracted, in a game that provides so much free reign and exploration like this. You could be exploring a quaint town, or playing one of the many casino games, and they’d still be plenty to try out after it!
Fallout New Vegas also introduces Hardcore Mode, a much more punishing way of playing the game. Unlike the normal mode, Hardcore Mode puts an emphasis on survival aspects. Players will have to ensure that they eat and drink regularly, which as many of you will recall from Fallout 3, is hard to keep up with, when decent food and water is in limited supply in most places. Healing items no longer instantly top up your health, instead they slowly patch you up over time, so chance encounters can get very tense when your health has been at a minimum for some time. Also, crippled limbs can only be fixed by using a rare Doctors Bag, or by finding a doctor to fix you up. Ammo also carries a significantly higher weight and is harder to come by, so a closer look at the inventory is required in this mode.
For those looking for a more accurate depiction of desperation during a nuclear fallout, then Hardcore Mode is definitely worth a try.
Overall, Fallout New Vegas is a brilliant game that is only slightly let down by its game freezes and glitches (something Fallout 3 was prone to at times as well) and occasional poor AI. New Vegas offers a much broader and varied landscape than Fallout 3, and it’s easy to sink an obscene amount of hours into it. If you’re looking for a immersive RPG…then this may just be one of them.

ExQuizit Review

Whether you enjoy a pub quiz or not, there's no denying that people love their general knowledge quizzes. There are a few around in game format, but one of the latest to hit the scene is Boboshi's ExQuizit, developed for the iPod Touch/iPhone.
What makes this quiz game so great is it's re-playablity factor. Boasting over 12,000 questions spanned across seven different categories, there's plenty of reasons to come back for another round, as it's very rare that questions are repeated for quite some time. With a choice to play through 5, 10, 15, 20, 30 or 40 questions, the game also includes several modes to keep things interesting. First of all is the multiple choice mode, which personally I found the most enjoyable. There's also Time Attack mode which combines the element of multiple choice with a timer. The quicker you answer the questions, the higher your score will be. Classic mode presents the questions without any alternatives (bye bye multiple choice), and can actually be the hardest mode, especially if the expert questions are selected. Thankfully, each mode is also incredibly fun...and somewhat addictive, if quiz/puzzle games are your thing.
The game boasts a very smooth, simple but attractive interface that is simple to navigate. Also, the game integrates Gamecenter, which unlocks achievements for answering a set amount of questions, getting a certain combination of questions right in a row, and so on. This adds a little more incentive to the gameplay, which is nice. Another nice addition is the ability to select or deselect as many categories as you wish. So if you're not great at your science questions, for example, you can opt to remove this from the round and play with only those you feel more comfortable in.
Overall, ExQuizit is a fantastic trivia app which is hard to fault. There are several game modes there to add a bit of variety to the proceedings, and it's a fun game to play with a friend (or six!). The questions vary in difficulty, so thankfully you will not be left complaining that the game is either too easy or too hard. My only criticism, and this is a minor one at that, is that the solo mode felt like it was lacking ever so slightly. It would be nice to be able to accumulate statistics, as there is no in-game record of your performance. Apart from this, ExQuizit is a fine trivia game. The game boasts a great interface, easy to read questions, a fun multi-player experience and an impressive amount of questions. For only 69p, you can't complain that there isn't enough here to keep you occupied. If trivia games are your thing...then it's probably worth picking this up.
